Today there are an estimated 700 million to 1 billion people and 3–4 million collectives who, each in their unique way, are working for a better world. As Paul Hawken, ecologist, activist and writer, noted, “This is by far the most diverse mass movement of people, the world has ever seen. But it’s almost silent, it’s disunited, it is disconnected.” It has no presence on the global stage.
We need to find ways to unite, connect and harness the energy and will-to-act, creating a ‘tour de force’ and a snowball effect to help drive change. But the way we have solved most challenges in the past is no longer working, so we need a new updated approach. And when leaders are not listening, the people have to step up and get involved.

A note to all parents and grandparents.
There may come a day when your children or grandchildren turn to you and look you in the eyes saying……
“So, what did YOU do, mum and dad? Or Grandpa and Granny? What did YOU do – once you realized the wheels were coming off the world? That the world you were handing on to me and the rest of my generation was degraded, drowning in debt and that trust was so fractured?”
