PITCH EVENTS

WILL BE A FEATURE OF THE GAMES

EVERY DAY THE PITCH PAVILION WILL BE OPEN

PITCHES ARE NOT ONLY FOUND IN THE COMPETITIONS

THEY ARE OPEN TO ALL

Pitch Events offer a number of selected entrepreneurs and companies, who may or may not be teams in the competitions, the opportunity to showcase their cutting-edge product or service to a small panel of advisors and the audience.

Each pitch duration is seven minutes with seven minutes Q&A, per pitch.  Pitch requests must be submitted well in advance and will be screened, by members of a due diligence team.  Programs will be posted online and in the venue.

Topics will relate to solving Goals and global challenges, to products, services and skills relevant to the goals, as well as case studies of work that has been undertaken with positive results in different fields.

FOR THOSE WITH GOOD STORIES AND KNOWLEDGE TO SHARE

Ask any regular conference-goer or trade exhibition visitor to measure the value of an event and they'll tell you the same thing. The most take-home value from attending events comes from the people you meet and the knowledge you gain from the case-studies and insights at sessions and events; on other words it's Content and Contacts. That's why the Competitions and the Other Components of The Transformation Games are so important. Alongside the TTG Exhibition, you will find a rolling programme of opportunities to pitch - as well as listen, learn and interact - in the Pitch Pavilion.

STATE YOUR CASE

The Pitch Pavilion will be open for short talks, case studies, sharing insights, lessons learnt. Naturally, there will be screening - to make sure the content has merit, the topics are sensibly grouped, the ground-rules are clear. But the mission is clear. TTG wants to provide opportunities to as many as possible accessible: Opportunities to share ideas, research, experience. Opportunities to offer investment, advice, grants to develop projects, or mentorship. Opportunities to find the people you need, the skills you are missing, to share new products or services.

SHARING INSIGHTS LEARNING LESSONS: GOOD AND BAD

Have you heard that saying "Experience is the name we give to our mistakes. And we are very experienced." ? It's true. We tend to focus on success stories. And often luck is part of that success. Many times we learn much more from our mistakes, our failures, our overconfidence and the mistakes of others we meet. One of the enduring success-stories of Silicon Valley is the tolerance, no - the reverence for failure. Making mistakes, picking yourself up, learning from it and then getting to right next time. That's the way to learn resilience. That's the way to learn adaptability. And that's why The Pitch Pavilion will feature talks and stories about things that went wrong and what we can al learn from them. Please feel free to bring yours too.
